CAIRO - 13 July: Egyptian students at the Faculty of Engineering, and Misr University for Science and Technology have succeeded in implementing some environment-friendly projects, which depend on the exploitation of renewable energy sources, instead of the traditional energy sources that cause harm to the environment.

The students presented innovative graduation projects that help in the development of society, most importantly the design of a diesel engine that is powered by water instead of gasoline, as per the instructions of Khaled el-Toukhy, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr University for Science and Technology.

Baher Abu-steit, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Misr University for Science and Technology, described the undergraduate students at the faculty as having the capabilities that would qualify them to compete in the job market.

Abu-Steit explained that they have the innovative ideas and projects that the state needs, such as water conservation projects, energy production projects, and waste recycling projects.
