Ministry of Higher Education sets dates for returning to classes – Roya News English

The Higher Education Council held a session Saturday under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Abu Qudais, to discuss important decisions regarding the return to in-person classes.

It was agreed that public universities will begin classes on Sunday, Oct. 10, and private universities will begin the following Sunday, Oct. 17.  

During his meeting on Wednesday with the heads of public Jordanian universities, Abu Qadis stressed the keenness of the Higher Education Council to continue consulting with the heads of public and private universities on all issues that concern the higher education sector and contribute to the progress of its institutions.
