Kuwait University to tackle Sabah Al-Salem traffic

KUWAIT: Kuwait University is forming a technical committee to study the organization of traffic and propose solutions to improve the traffic situation in Sabah Al-Salem University City, the university said in a press release. The decision comes in effort to enhance traffic safety, maintain the safety of the university’s affiliates, and maintain a safe environment for all.

The committee will be examining the entrances and exits of the campus, the parking situation, and proposed measures to tackle existing issues, including traffic signals, intersections, traffic lines, speed bumps, passenger drop-off areas, etc. The university said it will coordinate with the competent authorities in Kuwait to implement the necessary solutions.
