Minister of Education, French ambassador tackle sector promotion efforts

NNA - Minister of Education Abbas Al-Halabi met with French Ambassador Anne Grillo and a delegation of senior officials at the embassy and the French institutions operating within its framework.

Grillo stressed during the meeting that "education is the pillar of Lebanon, its history, present, and future," hoping for cooperation to resolve crises and lift pressures off schools.

She conveyed to the Minister of Education the greetings of his French counterpart, stressing "French adherence to a united, diverse and open Lebanon," and reiterating "France's readiness to continue supporting the Ministry of Education, either directly or through European and international projects."
