The data, released by National Centre for Statistics and Information, reflects a diverse visitor demographic.

The breakdown of tourist numbers shows that 102,241 were Omanis, highlighting Jabal Akhdar’s popularity among locals. GCC visitors comprised a significant part of the total, with Saudi tourists numbering 13,430, followed by Kuwaitis (1,218), Emiratis (951), Qataris (729) and Bahrainis (554).

Additionally, the wilayat attracted 6,784 visitors from other Arab and 80,085 from non-Arab countries, indicating its appeal to a broad spectrum of tourists.
