Marafiq Launches Young Leaders Program 2024

Muscat: Marafiq, an OQ company affiliated with the Oman Investment Authority, proudly announces the launch of its Omani Young Leaders Program 2024. This transformative initiative aims to equip Omani youth with the skills and capabilities to assume leadership roles within the company in the near future.

The program is tailored for new employees of Marafiq Company holding university degrees and boasting a minimum of five years of experience. Abdullah Al-Hashimi, Managing Director of Marafiq, underscored the company's steadfast commitment to nurturing Omani talent to fill various pivotal positions. He highlighted Marafiq's substantial investments in the Economic Zone at Duqm, particularly in the electricity and water sectors.

Marafiq's investments include the Integrated Power and Water Plant, supplying electricity to Duqm Refinery and oil storage facilities in Ras Markaz, and providing industrial water services to Duqm Refinery. Additionally, the company manages the Gas Turbine Power Production Plant, meeting the electricity needs of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, and oversees the drinking water sector in the area.
