Oman Business: Khimji Ramdas unit to help upgrade Oman schools infrastructure – Gulf Digital News

Oman-based Khimji Ramdas Group has announced that one of its units Eshraqa has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education (MoE) to help enhance the infrastructure of government schools in Wilayat Dima Watayeen, by equipping them with smart TV, smart interactive boards and security cameras.

By providing digital amenities such as smart TVs and innteractive boards, Eshraqa aims to help the schools make lessons more engaging, interactive and productive for both students and teachers, said the statement from KR Group.

Built on the premise that the private sector has a responsibility towards the development of local communities and empowering talented individuals in the sultanate, Eshraqa works toward nation-building at the grassroots, said the statement.

It aspires to contribute meaningfully to the education sector by building infrastructure that will lead to the enhancement of knowledge, skills, and capabilities in society, it added.

This constant support to ‘education’ comes as a continuation of Eshraqa’s initiatives to develop and improve the sector, by providing infrastructure that is at par with modern education globally and it comes in line with Oman’s Vision 2040 goals, remarked Nailesh Khimji, the Director of Khimji Ramdas Group, after signing the deal with Majid bin Said Al Bahri, Undersecretary of the Ministry
