Oman launches training program for engineering graduates | Times of Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour, in cooperation with Huawei and in partnership with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and Omantel, has launched a training program for graduates of information technology and communications engineering courses. A statement issued online said: "The training program includes the first batch of 35 trainees and has been launched with the aim of providing training opportunities for students to enable them to meet the requirements of the market and to provide them with the necessary experience." "It is worth noting that this training program aims to enhance the capabilities and skills of graduates of information technology and communication engineering as part of the agreement signed by the Ministry of Labour and Huawei at the end of last year, to train and qualify 300 graduates of information technology and communications engineering during a period of 3 years," added the statement.
