The Sultanate of Oman is showcasing its rich cultural, heritage and academic legacy at the ongoing Doha International Book Fair. This ten-day event, which commenced on May 9, offers a multitude of attractions for all age groups.The fair has drawn a substantial number of exhibitors and visitors from across the globe, presenting Oman with an excellent opportunity to introduce its beauty and culture to a diverse audience.Oman’s participation in international exhibitions and forums underscores its commitment to global cultural exchange, making such platforms crucial for attracting numerous exhibitors and visitors from various countries.The Doha International Book Fair holds significant regional, Arab and international stature among book fairs, providing a comprehensive window for visitors to explore diverse aspects of Omani culture.This year, Oman’s participation is noteworthy as the country is the guest of honour for the 33rd edition of the fair, themed “With Knowledge, Civilisations Are Built.” Represented by 17 publishing houses, the Omani pavilion stands out amidst the participation of over 515 publishing houses from 42 countries.Visitors to the Omani pavilion are taken on a journey through various books that reflect the culture and civilisation of Oman.
