Programme launched to develop female leaders in Oman

Royal Academy of Management is inviting participation in a programme called ‘Tasamo’ aimed at developing leadership capabilities in Omani women.Muscat – Royal Academy of Management, in cooperation with Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM), is inviting participation in a programme called ‘Tasamo’ aimed at developing leadership capabilities in Omani women.

In a statement, the academy said, ‘This programme aims to develop leadership, skills and knowledge of Omani women in decision-making positions, transfer experiences, and highlight successful experiences of Omani women at national and international levels. The programme also aims to enhance self-leadership skills, and create a community of Omani female leaders.’

The target group includes 50 Omani women from public, private and civil society sectors, including chairpersons of women’s associations, professional associations and general managers.

The language of the executive education programme will be Arabic and English for participants from the public and private sectors, while Arabic will be used for members of the civil society.

The programme will run for four months and participants will be required to devote 2-5 days per month to it.
