Schools to remain closed on Thursday

Muscat: Study in government, private and foreign schools will be suspended on Thursday in all governorates, except for Al Wusta governorate in anticipation of heavy rains expected to fall in Oman, the Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday.

In order to ensure the safety of its students, the Ministry has decided to activate the distance education system in all public, private and foreign schools in all governorates, with the exception of schools in the Al Wusta Governorate, for tomorrow, Thursday, May 2, 2024. Studies in schools will resume on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
