Slight dip in visitors to Al Jabal Al Akhdar in 2023 compared to 2022

Muscat: The number of visitors to the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate during the year 2023 reached about 205,992, compared to 208,423 visitors in 2022.

Statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information showed that the number of Omanis who visited the state during the past year reached 102,241, the number of Saudi tourists reached 13,430, and the number of Kuwaiti visitors reached 1,218, while the number of Emirati visitors reached 951, and the number of Bahraini visitors reached 554. The number of Qatari visitors during the past year was 729.

Statistics indicated that the number of visitors from other Arab nationalities reached 6,784, while the number of visitors from foreign nationalities reached 80,085.

The Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar is unique in having an exceptional climate throughout the year.
