Symposium explores Arabic language learning, teaching practices

Muscat: Represented by the Ministry of Education, the Sultanate of Oman is hosting the 4th edition of the Arabic Language Symposium, in the presence of local and international experts and specialists under the slogan 'Teaching and Learning the Arabic Language: Insights and Practical Experiences.' The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Habib Mohammed al Riyami, Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science. Held for three days, the event explores modern techniques in teaching and learning Arabic language and showcases local and international practical experiences in teaching and learning Arabic.Its activities include the presentation of working papers, panel discussions and training workshops on successful models in teaching and learning Arabic. The symposium also sheds light on the reality of teaching and learning the Arabic language in light of modern educational trends and learning about the applications of technology and artificial intelligence in the field of language teaching by presenting successful and inspiring practical experiences from local and international experts.
