“In continuation to the public notice dated 9th February 2024, where in NTA has invited online application forms for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) 2024, it has been decided that the exam will be conducted in the foreign cities as per details mention below,” states the notice, which lists Kuwait, United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah), Thailand (Bangkok), Srilanka (Colombo), Qatar (Doha), Nepal (Kathmandu), Malaysia (Kuala Lampur), Nigeria (Lagos), Bahrain (Manama), Oman (Muscat), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), and Singapore as foreign centres for NEET UG 2024 exams.

Welcoming the decision, Dr. Saji Uthuppan, academician and social worker based in Oman, told The Arabian Stories (TAS) that the efforts and pressure from parents and like-minded
