2600 female students graduate from QU Class of 2022 – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar University (QU) recently held graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2022 female students from nine individual colleges.

The ceremonies were held for the 45th batch of graduates from the Colleges of Education, Shariah and Islamic Studies, Engineering, Law, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business and Economics and Arts and Sciences (mass communications, history, psychology, social work and sociology programmes, graduate studies, biology, environmental sciences, statistics, chemistry, sports sciences, mathematics, Arabic language, English literature and linguistics, international affairs, policy planning and development programmes).

The College of Education’s ceremony included 515 female graduates In the presence of H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education and H E Dr. Hamda Al Sulaiti, Vice-President of the Shura Council as the guest of honour of the ceremony.

The College of Shariah graduated 92 female students and College of Engineering 196 students whereas college of Law graduated 286 female students this year. The number of graduates reached 574 from these three faculties.

The College of Health Sciences, the College of Pharmacy and the College of Medicine graduated 93, 51 and 46 respectively. The College of Business and Economics saw off 503 female students.
