CCQ holds orientation session for new students

The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) held an orientation meeting on the Lusail campus for foundation students and those newly admitted in the specialised programmes, in the presence of the deans of the three academic divisions and officials from the departments of Admission & Registration and Counselling & Advising, as well as the counselling and special and social needs section.

The meeting briefed the attendees on the various programmes and services offered by the college.

Students were introduced to the college’s regulations and provided with copies of academic programmes' plans, contact information for various college departments, the academic calendar, policies and procedures, and other information related to support services, registration and academic advising.

The meeting included awareness sessions and presentations on academic advising services, policies for registration and students, security and safety policies, and other activities with the participation of students, including a session on how to register in various academic programmes, how to register for courses and how to add and drop courses, with the help of registration and advising personnel.
