Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Mogadishu University sign agreement – The Peninsula

Doha Institute for Graduate Studies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mogadishu University in Somalia, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two sides in scientific research and areas of common interest.

The memorandum was signed by the President of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies Dr. Abdelwahab El Affendi, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mogadishu University Dr. Abdulrahman Muallem Abdullah.

The MoU aims to support communication between the two parties and establish scientific cooperation between them. This contributes to promoting research projects, scientific and knowledge production, exchanging experiences and experts, organising joint events such as forums, conferences and lectures, and preparing studies and research in areas of common interest.

The cooperation also includes attracting distinguished undergraduate students from Mogadishu University, who meet the admission requirements according to the admission policy adopted by Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, and providing grants according to what is available at the institute.
