MES athletes win big at cross-country race for girls – The Peninsula

MES team secured the first runners-up position for the team championship.

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Athletics Federation organised its cross-country race for girls aged 14-16 on January 3, 2024 at Al Wakra Beach.

MES team comprising Anusree Shine (VIII M), Fidha Zahra Haseeb (VIII R), Alicia Maria Ajeet (VIII L) and Nafla Nisar of (VII S) secured the first runners-up position for the team championship. Anusree Shine and Fidha Zahra Haseeb bagged individual bronze medals in the race.

The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar congratulated the students and the coaches for their creditable performance in the first-ever suburban penetration Race for girls held at Al Wakra Beach.
