Ministry opens ‘Tumooh’ admissions – The Peninsula

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the start of online registration for the ‘Tumooh’ programme for high school students in the class of 2021-22.

This is also for students who obtained high school certificate during the past three years, given that student’s age is not more than 23 years for the 2022-23 academic year.

The first admission process continues through the ministry’s online portal, from June until September, for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year. The registration is opened for the second time from September until December 2022 for the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year.

The education ministry said that the ‘Tumooh’ programme, which was launched years ago in cooperation with Qatar University, facilitates filling teaching positions in public schools with qualified national cadres. The ministry supports students who join the programme with monthly allowances of up to QR10,000 during the study stage, pays tuition fees for students at the College of Education, and recruits graduates of the programme in public schools.
