Qatar University graduate extols volunteerism in boosting skills – The Peninsula

Mahhab Mohammed Mustafa, a graduate of the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University (QU), has made significant progress in the stock market, car trading and real estate. Mustafa studied finance as a major and accounting as a minor at QU and stated that he picked this field because of his passion for financial markets and investment.

Mustafa said: “The finance major helped me study investment in a scientific and detailed manner. During my university life, I entered the labour market by trading in stocks, car trading and real estate. This was to apply my studies and gain initial experiences before graduation.”

Mustafa stressed the importance of volunteer work during student life to develop many skills, saying: “I participated in many events as a volunteer, whether affiliated within the university or outside, such as the National Day, Sports Day and the Arab Cup. I also participated in the World Horse Championships organised by Al Shaqab and with Qatar Charity during Ramadan.

“These activities enabled me to obtain community experiences that I may need in the future. Among which was how to deal with different personalities and raise social efficiency.”
