Ahmed Aldeeb, a 14-year-old student, published a scholarly article in the 'International Journal of High School Research' (IJHSR), titled 'Coronavirus Disease 2019: Why Some Countries Appear to be Relatively Spared'.

He studies the spread of the virus in different countries and the reasons that cause this gap in cases between different countries, looking into factors such as inflammation, ageing, population density, age, climate and immunology.

The article is peer reviewed by multiple experts in his field, and he aims to spread awareness of Covid-19 and research. He has also created a website (coronaviruslive.io), which was featured on 'Gulf Times' earlier.

His article gained international recognition, allowing him to attend a virtual conference for schools in Shanghai.

The article can be accessed from this website - https://doi.org/10.36838/v4i1.1
