QU inaugurates ‘Innovators in Education’ project

Qatar University (QU) has announced the launch of the “Innovators in Education” project, which contributes in achieving the vision of both the College of Education, represented by the National Centre for Education Development, and the College of Engineering.

The project sponsored by ExxonMobil aims to promote creativity and innovation and encourage educators and higher education students to find educational resources that support student learning, stimulate excellence, and achieve intellectual development and constructive co-operation.

College of Education dean Dr Hessa H al-Thani said: “The project is an important contribution by the college to support the talents and creative capacities of students and to enhance their abilities to innovate, to qualify them as leaders of the future.”

College of Engineering dean Dr Khalid Kamal Naji said: “Through this project, we will work to support and discover talents, in order to develop and invest in them. We aim to do this by taking advantage of the College of Engineering’s Technology Innovation and Engineering Education.”
