Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, assistant speaker of the Shoura Council, has won the prestigious International Award for Exceptional Achievement from Tulane University in the United States of America. She was presented with the award at the 48th award ceremony of the university. The award was given to university graduates who represent the highest standards of excellence and stand out in professional fields and community service at the local and international levels. Addressing the ceremony after receiving the award, Dr. Hanan said that the foreign scholarship program is one of the pillars of the education strategy of Saudi Arabia, as the program contributes to acquiring knowledge from distinguished institutions around the world. She noted that there are more than 50,000 Saudi scholarship students who are pursuing their higher studies in the American universities. Dr. Hanan praised the launch of the Strategy of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who is also chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee, saying that the strategy aims to enroll students in elite educational institutions around the world, with a focus on high-level education and capability development, research, and to meet the needs
