Riyadh, Dec 10, 2020, SPA -- Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikh said that the announcement of the results of the Global Knowledge index 2020 in which the Saudi education has made great strides, leaping to the 42nd rank among 138 countries and to the 12th rank globally in the technological education and vocational training index is considered a great jump in comparison with the previous years as the Kingdom has advanced ten points in 2019 and 24 in 2018.

He said the Kingdom has made great strides in seven fields at the global level as follows: pre-graduation education, technological education and vocational training, higher education, research, development and innovation, information technology and communications, economy, and empowerment environments as the Kingdom's general index amounted to 50.9, nearly four points above the international average.
