SDRPY opens four model schools in Socotra

SOCOTRA — The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) has inaugurated four new schools in Socotra, Yemen, benefiting 5,170 students. The new facilities include Ali Bin Abi Talib School, Moaz Bin Jabal School, Qalansiya Secondary School, and Sarhan School, which will support education and learning by providing educational opportunities for male and female students, and a stimulating and inclusive environment for all. The model schools will contribute to providing a better learning environment that will enable schools to implement their educational programs and extra-curricular activities through facilities equipped per the highest specifications, including scientific and computer laboratories, volleyball and basketball courtyards. The ceremony to open these facilities, which are built similar to the specifications applied in Saudi Arabia, was attended by officials from the governorate and SDRPY, in addition to several social dignitaries and parents. — SPA
