Abu Dhabi approves remote learning for first two weeks of new school term

UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi has adopted a remote learning system for the first two weeks of the new school term, starting 3 January 2021 for all public and private schools due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

With this decision, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee and Department of Education and Knowledge aim to ensure the health and safety of students, teachers, and school staff, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Students, teachers, and school staff returning to the UAE from international travel are requested to adhere to quarantine measures followed in Abu Dhabi.

The committee also urged parents, students, and academic and administrative staff to adhere to all preventive and precautionary measures to protect their health and maintain public safety.
