SWISS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BACKS ‘THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SWISS BOOKS’ EXHIBITION AT DUBAI DESIGN WEEK

Info) Taking place 8-13 November, 2021, Dubai Design Week is an annual week-long festival celebrating regional design and creativity through free-to-attend exhibitions, installations, engaging activities and pop-ups, talks and workshops. "The Most Beautiful Swiss Books" exhibition takes visitors on an experiential journey, uncovering what goes into creating a book design. Alongside SISD, The Embassy of Switzerland has collaborated with UAE-based creative studio Hamzat Wasl and Zayed University, supported by Harradine Golf and Reichle & De-Massari, to stage the event. Ruth Burke, Principal of the bilingual IB school, which is the largest Swiss school outside of Switzerland, says:"While we have an entirely global approach to our multi-lingual studies, we are still, at heart, very proud of our Swiss origins. The opportunity to sponsor such a beautiful exhibition within the Dubai Design Week aligns with many of our goals as an educational institution that aims to help pupils understand their studies in the wider context of a global society.
