Inaugural event connecting GCC scholarship providers

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The inaugural ICEF World Student Scholarship Education Programme commences at the end of this month, a two-day, high-level networking event providing a platform for international education providers to connect with the heads and key decision makers of global scholarship programmes from across the Gulf region. Organised by ICEF in collaboration with Gulf Conferences, the event will take place on February 16th and 17th at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, right after the 16th edition of ICEF Dubai. Interest in this event has been overwhelming, reflecting the rare opportunity presented by having these important organisations under one roof.

The Gulf Cooperation Council's strong support for ICEF’s event is illustrated by the attendance of over 65 scholarship organisations from all six GCC countries, with senior representation from public, private and government sectors including; the Institute of Public Administration in Bahrain; the Ministry of Education in Kuwait; the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman; the Ministries of Culture, Defence, Education, Health and Tourism in Saudi Arabia; the Dubai and Sharjah Police and Etihad Airways in UAE, Ministry of the Interior and Qatar Airways in Qatar.
