NYU Abu Dhabi honors class of 2023 at tenth graduation ceremony

- To date, NYUAD has grown to a student population of some 2,100 from over 120 countries speaking more than 115 languages.

Abu Dhabi, UAE: NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) hosted its tenth Commencement ceremony to honor the Class of 2023, the largest to date. A total of 455 undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students representing over 80 countries who collectively speak 65 languages participated in the largest graduating class that NYUAD has held since its inception in 2011.

In attendance were His Highness Sheikh Al Murr Bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum; His Excellency Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development; His Excellency Jassem Mohammed Buatabh Al Zaabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Finance Department; William R. Berkley, Chairman of the New York University Board of Trustees; and Rima Al Mokarrab, NYU Trustee, among other guests. NYUAD Vice Chancellor Mariët Westermann officiated the ceremony at the University’s campus, along with NYU President Andrew Hamilton.
