H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, received on Thursday, Astronauts Sultan AlNeyadi, Hazzaa Almansoori and UAE Mission 2 team, at the Sharjah Academy of Astronomy, Space sciences and Technology (SAASST).

The meeting covered the team’s recent successful mission to the International Space Station, which enhanced the UAE’s reputation, as well as the significant advancements in space science and astronomy programmes.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan listened to a detailed explanation from Sultan AlNeyadi and Hazzaa Almansoori, about the longest space mission in Arab history, which AlNeyadi underwent and extended to 6 months aboard the International Space Station, and the scientific experiments he participated.
