Iraqi royal coin – claimed as the second rarest- bearing the image of King Ghazi and other precious currencies will go under the hammer in the first joint Arab auction to be held on January 27 at Fraser Suites Hotel near Seef Mall Manama.

Arados Auction from Bahrain, The Heritage Doors from Saudi Arabia, and Rabdan Auctions from the UAE are participating. Arados Exhibition and auction will start on the 26th of this month at Seef Mall in Manama.

Muhammad Abdul Hakim Al-Aradi, the founder and director of Arados Auction, said this year’s exhibition and the auction would also have international companies and institutions specialised in coins and banknotes.

The event will have a currency museum displaying currencies in circulation in Bahrain since the era of Shaikh Isa Bin Ali Al Khalifa. More than 30 exhibitors from the Gulf, Arab and other regions around the globe are participating in the exhibition.

Also taking part are the representative of Spink International Auction and American Legacy Company, which also evaluate banknotes, French Company Jenny, which specialises in coins and Oxner and Mina Souvenir companies.
