CAIRO – 19 November 2020: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday session in red, losing LE 3.72 billion of market capitalization, amid Egyptian and Arab selling.

 

The benchmark EGX30 declined 0.83 percent, or 91.05 points, to close at 10,898.67 points.

 

The equally weighted index EGX 50 dipped 0.48 percent, or 10.26 points, to end at 2,141.26 points.

 

The small and mid-cap index EGX 70 lessened 0.50 percent, or 10.02 points, to close at 2,010.25 points, and the broader index EGX 100 decreased 0.55 percent, or 16.16 points to 2,937.87 points.

 

 

Market capitalization lost around LE 3.72 billion, recording LE 692.24 billion, compared to LE 632.96 billion in Wednesday's session.

 

The trading volume reached 458.6 million shares, traded through 51,995 transactions, with a turnover of LE 1.78 billion. 

 

Foreign investors were net buyers at LE 128.39 million, while Egyptian and Arab
