Egypt invests in building capacities of gov’t employees to boost human capital

CAIRO - 30 December 2021: The Ministry of International Cooperation has organized a number of training programs for government employees in cooperation with development partners to boost human capital, invest in capacity building and thereby improve the effectiveness of the public sector. During 2021, a training course on effective management of development finances was implemented in partnership with the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOIKA) and the Korean Institute for Development Strategies (KDS), for the research and technical teams in the Ministry. The Ministry also organized with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce nearly 55 virtual training programs to build capacities in the fields of health, technical education, e-commerce, agriculture, modern irrigation technology, city planning and green transformation, which has benefited a large number of government officials across all levels. The Ministry also coordinated a number of master's and doctoral programs during the past year from prestigious Chinese universities.
