Greece’s amb. to Egypt lauds good relations between Cairo, Athens – Egypt Today

The diplomat’s remarks came on Tuesday at an event organized by the Greek embassy to mark the national day of Greece in the presence of Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Soha Gendi and a host of senior officials and diplomats.

Papageorgiou commended the close and strategic relationship between both Egyptian and Greek peoples for thousands of years.

The ambassador also lauded initiatives launched by the emigration minister to strengthen the bonds between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus.
