CAIRO - 10 April 2024: The official Facebook page of the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic published a video highlighting the beauty and luxury of the Islamic Cultural Center of Egypt, located in the New Administrative Capital.

The video is titled  “the Islamic Cultural Center of Egypt...a new edifice for the people of Egypt and the Islamic world.”

The Islamic Cultural Center of Egypt, also known as "Egypt's Mosque," is ranked the third mosque globally in terms of size, and is considered an Islamic masterpiece. 

 

Highlights of the specs of Egypt Mosque:

- The area of the mosque is 476,000 square meters and contains 3 main entrances topped by Islamic domes, in addition to a fourth service entrance.

 

- It has 2 tall minarets that capture the sight of the visitors, each is 148 meter tall. 

 

- It has the largest chandelier in the world, with a diameter of 22 m, and height 22 m. 

 

- The mosque consists of a prayer hall with an area of 9,600 square meters.

 

- The mosque surmounted by a main Islamic dome with an internal diameter of 29.5 metres, and 6 halls, the area of each hall being 350 square metres. 2 m,
