كونا : Kuwait embassies in Europe celebrate national days – عام – 24/02/2023 – Kuwait News Agency

KUWAIT, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait embassies in Malta, Belgium, Austria, Romania, and Switzerland hosted receptions to mark the 62nd Independence Day and 32nd Liberation Day in the presence of political, economic, media and academic top brass as well as heads of diplomatic missions in the five countries.



Kuwait Ambassador to Malta Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi welcomed Maltese President George Vella and senior guests, including Parliament Speaker Angelo Farrugia and other senior guests to the reception at the Embassy in Valetta, a statement from the embassy said on Thursday.



He conveyed to them the regards of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, wishing more progress for the friendly relations with Malta.



On his part, President Vella congratulated the Kuwaiti leaders, government and people on the occasion, voicing hope for more progress for the bilateral ties in all areas.



He added that cooperation with Kuwait kept growing over the past 50 years and both sides share the desire to boost the friendly relations.
