Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of being sworn, taking the constitutional oath and assuming the reins of power in the State of Kuwait.In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratulations to Shaikh Mishal, wishing him success in leading the Kuwaiti people to achieve further progress and prosperity.His Majesty stressed the depth of fraternal relations that bind the two countries and endeavor to consolidate the bonds in a manner that serves the common interests of Omani and Kuwaiti peoples.
