Capital Control Law is long overdue: European Observatory

The European Observatory for Integrity in Lebanon stated on Twitter that the Capital Control Law is long overdue.

It stated that it should have been voted for at the start of Lebanon’s financial crisis “as in Greece and Cyprus.”

 “Today, this law, as stipulated, would deprive the depositors of their rights,” the European Observatory added.
