His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has directed the launch of three significant economic programs aimed at bolstering Oman's economic development and promoting investment opportunities.

The foundation will adhere to best practices in investment and financial management, drawing on qualified competencies from both the public and private sectors to fulfill its role effectively.

His Majesty has also directed the launch of an incentive program consisting of several initiatives. This program includes the transformation of select companies into public joint stock entities and listing them on the capital markets. Additionally, a sub-market called the Promising Companies Market will be established on the Muscat Stock Exchange, targeting private, family-owned, small, medium, and emerging companies. Besides, limited liability companies will be incentivized to transform into closed joint stock companies, contributing to the growth and dynamism of Oman’s corporate sector.
