Muscat: The MSX index closed at 3, 956. 23 points, down 0. 10 per cent from the previous close. The Sharia Index ended up by 0. 11 per cent at 594. 79 points. Construction Materials Industry, up 3. 33 per cent, was the top gainer while Muscat Thread Mill, down 8. 33 per cent, was the top loser. Shares of Bank Nizwa was the most active in terms of the number of shares traded as well as in terms of turnover.
