New management takes over Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi

Muscat – Marg Hotels and Resorts (Kochi) took over operations of Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi recently with the promise of a better guest experience.

Opened in 2017 in the heart of Ruwi, the four-star property has 118 rooms, a café, restaurant, boardroom, spa, health club, rooftop swimming pool, banquet halls and other facilities.

Some of the areas the new management will look into are revamping its menus, visibility in social media and access to the hotel.

“We are pleased to be here in Oman – our first overseas project – with extensive experience of about 45 years in hotel operations. We aim to elevate Golden Tulip Headington to the No 1 spot among four-star hotels in Muscat for its food, accommodation and business activities, for which we have set several plans and promotions,” said Vijay Cherian, managing director for Marg Hotels and Resorts.

Ullas Verghese, the newly appointed general manager, added, “We have four categories of rooms – Standard, Deluxe, Plaza Suite and Headington Suite. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities required by any kind of traveller – leisure or business.
