The new policy grants Omani citizens a five-year, multiple-entry visa, allowing them to visit EU countries numerous times within that period with a single visa.Under this new policy, Omani citizens can make multiple visits to EU countries over a five-year period using the same visa, enjoying travel rights equivalent to visa-free nationals. The updated visa code standardizes visa regulations for all GCC countries requiring visas to access the Schengen Area.

Effective immediately, GCC citizens can obtain multiple-entry visas with a five-year validity, provided their passport validity exceeds five years.
