Oman's agricultural, fisheries fund finances 28 projects

Published 22 Jun,2021 via Muscat Daily - The Agricultural and Fisheries Development Fund (AFDF) has financed a number of projects at a total cost RO3.5mn, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.

Hanan Saeed al Sulaimiya, executive director of the AFDF, said that the fund is implementing 28 projects, distributed across all sectors, including ten in agriculture, three in animal husbandry and 15 fisheries projects, at a total cost of RO3.5mn.

“In 2020, the fund financed four projects in the agricultural and fisheries sectors, at a total cost of more than RO680,000. Of the four projects, two projects were implemented, one in the agricultural sector, at a cost of RO408,000 and another in the animal husbandry sector at a cost of RO73,000,” Hanan said.
