Arab-Germany trade exchange reach €41.2bn last year – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar Chamber participated in the joint meeting of the Executive Office and the Board of Directors and the General Assembly’s meeting of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry “Ghorfa”, where both meetings were held in the German capital, Berlin. The Chamber also participated in the 25th Arab-German Economic Forum, which was held in Berlin from June 21-23, 2022.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors, headed the Chamber’s delegation to the meetings. The delegation compromised members of the Board of Directors: Mohammed bin Mahdi Al Ahbabi, Dr. Khalid Klefeekh Al Hajri, Rashid Nasser Rashid Saree Al Kaabi, the General Manager Saleh Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Director of the General Manager’s Office Mohammed Saad Al Muhannadi, and several Qatari businessmen.

During the joint meeting of the Executive Office and the Board of Directors, emphasis was placed on strengthening trade and economic cooperation relations between Germany and the Arab countries, while the General Assembly meeting approved the items on the agenda.

The Chamber’s delegation, headed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, held several meetings with the participating delegations on the sidelines of the Arab-German Economic Forum, including the Chamber’s meeting with H E Nevin Jameh, Minister of
