Kazakhstan offers Qatari investors host of opportunities for investment – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar Chamber of Commerce has met with the Social-Entrepreneurial Business Corporations and delegates from Kazakhstan to discuss investment opportunities in the country.

The meeting touched on cooperation relations between both countries in economic and commercial fields; the investment climate and opportunities available in Qatar and Kazakhstan; and the possibility of establishing alliances and joint investments on both sides.

The First Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber, Mohamed bin Towar Al Kuwari, the First Deputy Governor of Zhambyl Region in Kazakhstan, Nurzhan Kalenderov, and the Chairman of the Board of Social-Entrepreneurial Business Corporations, Abilkairov Daulet, attended the meeting.

Al Kuwari praised the close relations between Qatar and Kazakhstan, noting that Qatari businessmen are interested in getting acquainted with the investment climate in Kazakhstan and the incentives offered to foreign investors and opportunities there. He stressed that the Qatar Chamber encourages Qatari businessmen to invest in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakhstani side reviewed the investment climate in Kazakhstan and in the Zhambyl Region, which offers a multitude of opportunities in various sectors such as chemical industries, renewable energy, food industries, agriculture, and mining.

They invited Qatari investors to visit the region to learn about these opportunities.

On his part, the First Deputy Governor of Zhambyl Region said that there are a
