Qatar Stock Exchange gains 1.61% – The Peninsula

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 199.07 points, or 1.61 percent, to close trading at 12,550.38 points yesterday.

The volume of shares traded increased to 226.355 million from 200.725 million on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR794.500m from QR570.962m on Tuesday. The indices of six sectors ended in the green zone and one sector ended in the red zone yesterday.

QSE Total Return Index gained 1.61 percent to 25,707.26, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index added 1.39 percent to 5,222.46 points and QSE All Share Index increased 1.51 percent to 3,983.71 points.
