‎TASI gains nearly 100 points to 11,453, records highest close in 45 days











Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 0.9%, or 96 points, to close at 11,453 points today, Jan. 5, recording the highest close in about a month and a half.

Total turnover reached SAR 5.4 billion.

SABIC rose more than 1% to SAR 119.

SADAFCO closed at SAR 169.40 (+3%) after the company’s board recommended distributing cash dividends at SAR 3 per share for H1 2021/22.

Kingdom Holding surged 5% to SAR 10.46 amid active trading of about 2 million shares. The company completed the sale of its 23.75% stake in Four Seasons Holding Inc., through one of its affiliates and received cash proceeds of SAR 8.29 billion.

SRMG recorded the highest close since listing at SAR 204 (+2%).

On the other hand, Al Rajhi Bank declined marginally to end the day at SAR 142.60.
