GACO shareholders nix 10-for-0.5 stock split proposal

Al Gassim Investment Holding Co. (GACO) shareholders nixed a proposal to halve the stock's par value from SAR 10 to SAR 0.5 during an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Oct. 19. It is to maintain the company's capital while increasing the number of the company’s shares from 30 million to 600 million, according to a Tadawul statement.
