Kingdom’s Talents Shine with Two Awards in European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad The official Saudi Press Agency





Riyadh, April 18, 2023, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba", and the Ministry of Education, won today two international medals in the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad 2023 (EGMO), which is being held in Slovenia during the period from 13 to 19 April.



The Saudi talents have raised the Kingdom’s medals to 26 in all editions of the EGMO, in which 213 students representing 55 countries are participating, throughout their participation in the Olympiad, continuing the Kingdom's achievements in international scientific competitions.



Saudi Arabia’s student Jana Ali Saad Al-Dosari, from the Eastern Region Education Directorate, won a bronze medal, while student Fatimah Hassan Mohammed Bu Ali, from the Al-Ahsa Region Education Directorate, won a certificate of appreciation.



Mawhiba's Secretary-General, Dr. Amal bint Abdullah Al-Hazzaa, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the achievement.
