SoftBank's market value dropped by about $10 billion this week after The Wall Street Journal reported that the company has been making massive, risky tech investments.

The Japanese conglomerate has invested millions in some of Silicon Valley's biggest tech companies, including Uber, WeWork, Slack, and DoorDash.
